Professional Accolades:
- Wrote “Resistance & the Non Voluntary Client” a model to help people feel comfortable in the counseling process. This applies to those many people who unfortunately have trouble getting in contact with their feelings. This model works well also with the adolescent, who by nature of being an adolescent, represses feelings.
- Introduced child and adolescent counseling in his special Child Therapy Room in his North Carolina practice. This is separate from the Adult Therapy Room. Here, the children feel comfortable in their surroundings and can express themselves freely. Lee also teaches some children “Magic” which builds self esteem because the children use the power of magic to transfer the power toward themselves. This greatly enhances their self esteem.
- Counseled people throughout the country through his “Hersh Seminars” to help people cope more effectively and easily with problems in daily living. This gave Lee a chance to understand how different areas of this great big wonderful country cope with life.
- Supervised “The Christian Counseling Center” using the clinical and spiritual approach toward problem solving.
- Created “The Medicine without Medicine” approach. This method helps people use their mind to relax, eliminate phobias, panic attacks and headaches. It also helps bring you a good night sleep and improve your diet (weight loss).
- Lee also developed a unique “Stop Smoking” program (only one session needed).
